Celebrate
Next Generation Sunday!
What
is Next Generation Sunday?
Next Generation Sunday is a time set aside on the first Sunday
in November to recognize the children and leadership involved in
the mission education programs in your church. It is a time to
look back at the on-mission activities the group has completed
and inspire the entire church to look forward and become
involved in on-mission activities.

The
Bruce Romoser RA Chapter at Bethel Baptist Church in
Ellicott City, Maryland had a great time celebrating RA
Week. The RAs passed out bulletins and took up the
offering during the morning service. One RA talked to
the congregation about what RAs is and discussed our
past and planned activitied. The RA described the fun
our chapter had during the three campouts over the past
year, and mentioned the exciting events planned in the
future. These include: overnight trip to Ocean City,
Maryland for older RAs, a sleep-over birthday party for
Jesus for younger RAs, our annual Krazy Nite in January
(games, Bible study, games, food, and more games!), and
our Pinewood Derby in February. We combine the Derby
with our mission project of collecting cans of food for
the needy. We collected over 1,000 cans last year! RA
Week was a fun time of recognition for the boys and a
chance to share with our congregation the exciting
things that we are doing.
