A Message from Jimmy Carter
After I served for 11 years in the U.S. Navy and returned to Plains, Ga., my first public service was as leader of the Royal Ambassadors in my church. As an adult, working with young people gave me a fine opportunity to correlate Christian faith with the practical aspects of daily life. Jimmy

from Sid Bream Royal
Ambassadors prepares boys for front-line action. In today’s society, I believe too many Christians are
blending into the secular crowd and not standing up and being noticed
(John 12:42-43). RAs teaches that obedience to Christ is more important than following men’s praises. Sid
Bream A Message from Henry T. Blackaby I am totally committed to Royal Ambassadors. During my 30 years as a pastor, I found RAs to be one of the finest mission organizations among Southern Baptists. There are, of course, other groups that teach Scripture memory, but none teach missions as effectively as RAs. Not only that, RAs undergird all they do with Scripture, Scripture memory, and the biblical basis of missions. RAs also leads boys to be "totally immersed" in missions by involving them in mission action, as well as mission education. Many men are on the mission fields of the world today because of RAs. I will continue to give them my utmost support. Henry T. Blackaby A Message from Adrian Rogers …
Much
of what I learned as a Royal Ambassador is still with me today as a pastor
and leader. Adrian
Rogers, Pastor A Message from Bob Reccord To All Parents: All children involved in mission education won't grow up to be missionaries. Some will be doctors, lab technicians, truck drivers, and teachers. But because of their training, they'll have an on-mission heart wherever they serve. They'll learn to share their faith, contribute financially to missions, pray for lost people around the world, participate in long- and short-term mission projects. In other words, to be on mission. And as they grow up, they'll help form the core of dedicated individuals who can lead our world to Christ. The task is too great to be carried out only by missionaries, pastors, and evangelists. If we are to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, you and your child must help. To prepare your child for a life of service to our Lord, participate as a family in the mission organizations of your church. I cannot overemphasize the urgency of training the next generation to be on mission. Young people are our tool for winning the world. Bob Reccord Royal Ambassadors-90+ years old and still going strong! A Message from Jimmy Draper
During RAs, I wrote the presidents of all the agencies. I learned about the denomination and about missions. RAs opened by eyes to it all. I attribute much of what I learned about missions and the denomination to Royal Ambassadors. Jimmy Draper
