As a Royal
Ambassador, I will do my best:
TO become a well-informed, responsible follower of Christ;
TO have a Christlike concern for all people;
TO learn how the message of Christ is carried around the world;
TO work with others in sharing Christ; and
TO keep myself clean and healthy in mind and body. |

5
Pieces to the perfect RA puzzle: |
|
Chapter
Meetings |
Members
are organized into chapters. Adults serve as counselors or Easy RA
leaders. Chapters meet weekly at established times. |
|
Advancement
Plan
|
The
advancement plan is an achievement method in which children learn
what it means to be an on mission Christian by
working in grade-level workbooks. Children are recognized
for their achievements with pins and patches. Classic RA
advancement materials are available at LifeWay Christian
Stores. Easy RA advancement guidelines are included in the
Easy RA organization. |
|
Mission
Field Projects |
Growing
into an on mission lifestyle is at the heart of the
RA Organization. RAs participate in age-appropriate projects
directed at nine identifiable fields of people to reach them for
Christ. By applying the RA Motto, "We are ambassadors
for Christ," to these fields through projects, members have
the opportunity to minister as Jesus did. The commitment to
the on mission lifestyle grows and matures. |
|
Meaningful
Relationships |
Strengthening
a child's relationship with Christ, the church, and other
Christians, as well as creating a better understanding between
parent and child, is crucial to the development of an RA.
The RA leadership team (called counselors or leaders) provides
positive, on mission role models for the RAs.
Therefore, the team becomes accountable to each other in this
commitment. |
|
Interest
Activities |
RAs
enjoy activities that are fun, that develop skills, and that
enhance relationships. Activities can include camping, field
trips, games, sports, recreation, crafts, hobbies, campcraft, and
fitness that relates to physical, mental, spiritual, and social
areas. These activities can be part of the chapter meeting
time or as part of an event that involves reaching out to
unchurched children and their families. The result of these
activities is that children have a chance to talk about Jesus and
their relationships with Him. Many have come to know Christ
through Royal Ambassadors interest activities |
