Your Ideas
RA Leaders from across the
country share great
promotional ideas with us from time to time. As
we receive these, we'll post them here.
Say, why don't
you send us a good idea for an activity or
project--or
an administrative tip--right now!
E-mail
me at jslater@namb.net.

RA
Brochure A great way to promote your RA group and reach out
to your community. (Submitted by Jim S Scott, R.A. Director,
Kirby Woods Baptist Church, Memphis, TN.)
RA Certificates of Participation My wife and I made these
up for use at our church and I thought you may like them for
the Web page. Feel free to post them on the web, place
them on CD's, and use them in any way you wish. (Submitted by:
Garret Rain, Middletown, PA, grain@pa.net.)
We would like to inform you of some of the missions projects
that our Chapter of Royal Ambassadors has been involved in
recently.
*The boys built birdhouses
which raised $200 at our Church’s annual craft fair. The
money was donated to the building fund for the girl’s
orphanage our Church is building in Chile. They also collected
shampoo, toothbrushes, soap, pencils, and money which was sent
directly to the orphanage.
*During the month of December,
the boys worked very hard in order to collect socks, gloves,
snacks, and other items which were made into forty-eight gift
bags. The bags were given as Christmas gifts to each
participant in our Church’s Room In
the Inn ministry. Room in the Inn is a ministry for the
homeless. (Submitted by Harold Brewer, Director, First Baptist
Church, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.)
The Crusaders from the RA Chapters at First Baptist Laurel,
MD and Ellicott City, MD attended an overnight event in
Ocean City, MD. The RAs participated in Bible Studies, swimming
in the indoor pool, picked up trash in parking lots and on the
beach, visited the wild ponies on Assateague Island, and much
more. A total of 27 boys and men attended this awesome event. It
was a great time of fellowship and fun that the boys will not
soon forget! -- Tim Arnett
